About product
This Legrand Valena Life two-key switch is intended for controlling lighting circuits in residential and public premises. The 2-way switching system makes it suitable for installations where one luminaire or a lighting group needs to be operated from two locations. It is designed for a nominal current of 10 A and a nominal voltage of 250 V AC, with operation in standard AC networks at 50–60 Hz. The switching capacity for fluorescent lamps is 10 AX, which should be considered when selecting the device for lighting loads.
The product is supplied as a basic mechanism with a protective cover and is designed for concealed installation. Mounting is carried out using mounting lugs and screw fixing. The built-in installation depth is 27.5 mm, while the minimum required mounting box depth is 30 mm. Overall dimensions are 74.7 × 74.7 × 41 mm, which allows integration into standard electrical installation setups. A mounting plate is included in the design.
The mechanism uses two operating keys with key/button control. The body and functional parts are made of plastic and thermoplastic material. The device is halogen-free in accordance with EN 50267-2-2. The surface is unprocessed and glossy, with a beige finish corresponding to RAL 1013; the switching element is also beige. This makes the switch visually consistent with other Valena Life accessories in the same design line.
From the protection standpoint, the device has IP20 ingress protection and IK04 impact resistance. It is intended for indoor use in dry rooms with an operating temperature range from -5 to +40 °C; the same range applies to storage. The permissible conductor cross-section for connection is 2.5 mm². The model does not include illumination, a label field, contact monitoring, smart home functions, or specialized modes for heating or washing machine control.
