About product
The Legrand Mosaic support is a mounting base designed for installing modular electrical accessories in concealed wiring systems. It serves to hold the insert in the wall opening and ensure precise positioning within the installation unit. This solution is used in residential, office, and commercial premises where a clean wall surface and accurate alignment of electrical mechanisms are required.
The product is intended for concealed mounting and supports installation of modular inserts from the front side. It is configured as a 1-gang support with 2 horizontal modules or 1 vertical module, allowing use in different layout options depending on the equipment arrangement. The support can be mounted both horizontally and vertically, which makes it suitable for various installation schemes within the Mosaic system.
The body is made of metal with a galvanically/electrolytically galvanized surface. This material and surface treatment are used to protect the support against corrosion during indoor operation. The dimensions are 74 × 74 mm, with a depth of 7.2 mm, so the element fits standard concealed-mount installation assemblies without unnecessary projection beyond the wall plane. Fastening is performed with screws, which provides stable fixation in the mounting point.
This support is not equipped with a built-in installation box and is not intended for mounting in a cable duct, on a 35 mm DIN rail, in a floor box, or in a 60 mm junction box. It is also supplied without nails and without built-in screws. The accessory is used together with compatible Mosaic modular mechanisms to form a complete installation point in concealed electrical wiring systems.
