Legrand Mosaic 80261 is a mounting support designed for concealed installation of Mosaic series electrical modules. It serves as the structural base for fixing modular inserts in a wall installation, helping organize the assembly of switchgear and wiring accessories within a frame system. The concealed-mount design makes it suitable for flush-mounted electrical installations where a neat and compact arrangement of devices is required.
The support is intended for one-gang configuration and accepts either 2 horizontal modules or 1 vertical module. This gives flexibility when arranging devices in different orientations, since the product can be installed both horizontally and vertically. Modular inserts are mounted from the front side, which simplifies assembly and later servicing of the installation point. The fastening method uses mounting claws, so the support is fixed without screws and is suited for installation in a prepared mounting niche.
The body is made of metal, with a galvanically/electrolytically zinc-plated surface. Such surface treatment is appropriate for concealed mounting components and helps protect the metal element within the installation structure. The overall dimensions are 74 mm in width and 70.9 mm in height, which allows the support to fit into the Mosaic mounting system without taking excessive space in the installation zone.
This model does not include a built-in installation box and is not intended for use with a 35 mm DIN rail, floor box, cable trunking, or a 60 mm junction box. It also does not use nails or screws for fixation. Legrand Mosaic 80261 is suitable for residential, commercial, and public premises where modular electrical devices need to be installed in concealed wiring systems with a clear and orderly layout.
