About product
This Legrand Mosaic support is intended for installing three modular elements in electrical installation systems with concealed mounting. It is used in residential, commercial, and office interiors where electrical devices need to be arranged neatly inside the wall without exposed mounting parts. The design is suited to building modular assemblies within the Mosaic system and provides a base for organizing inserts in a compact and orderly manner.
The product is fixed by screws, while the modular inserts are mounted from the front side. This configuration simplifies assembly and later servicing, since the elements can be installed without accessing the support from the rear. The frame can be positioned both horizontally and vertically, which gives flexibility when adapting the installation to the layout of the wall opening or the intended arrangement of the modules.
In terms of dimensions, the support measures 216 mm in width, 77 mm in height, and 15.7 mm in depth. The parameter set specifies 8 horizontal modules and 1 vertical module, allowing the product to be used as a structural base for different modular configurations within the same installation concept. It is designed for concealed mounting only and is not intended for installation in a cable trunking system, on a floor box, in a 60 mm distribution box, or on a 35 mm DIN rail. A built-in installation box is not included.
The support is made of metal, with a surface finished by galvanic or electrolytic zinc coating. This material treatment helps protect the structure against corrosion and supports stable fastening during long-term use. The product does not include nails or screws in the package, so fastening accessories must be selected separately according to the installation conditions.
Overall, this mounting support serves as a structural element for creating modular electrical assemblies in concealed installations, where precise geometry, front-side module mounting, and compatibility with the Mosaic system are required.
