About product
Legrand Mosaic mounting support is designed for the concealed installation of modular electrical accessories and serves as a supporting element for fixing Mosaic series inserts. It is used in systems where the mechanism needs to be integrated neatly into a wall or other installation base, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and office environments. The concealed-mount design supports orderly arrangement of electrical fittings while maintaining the intended installation geometry.
The support is configured for 2 horizontal modules and 1 vertical module, which makes it suitable for a single-module layout within the Mosaic system. Its dimensions are 74 × 74 mm, with a depth of 7.2 mm. These proportions help ensure compatibility with the relevant modular installation components and provide a compact format for installation in limited spaces. The module inserts are mounted from the front side, which simplifies assembly and later servicing of the installed elements.
Fixing is carried out with screws, while nails are not used. Screws are not included in the delivery. The product has no built-in installation box and is not intended for installation in a cable duct, floor box, 60 mm junction box, or on a 35 mm DIN rail. It can be positioned both horizontally and vertically, giving flexibility when planning the arrangement of the modular devices.
The body is made of metal with a galvanized/electrolytically galvanized surface. This finish supports the metal structure and is appropriate for internal electrical installation applications.
