The ETI KZS-2M differential circuit breaker is designed to protect electrical circuits against overload, short circuit, and leakage currents. It combines the functions of an automatic circuit breaker and a residual current device in a single modular housing, which makes it suitable for distribution boards in residential and commercial installations. The 1+N configuration provides switching of the phase conductor and neutral, making the device appropriate for single-phase networks where both overcurrent protection and differential protection are required. This unit is rated at 20 A and uses tripping characteristic B, which is intended for circuits with relatively low inrush currents. It is therefore suitable for typical lighting lines, socket circuits, and other general-purpose single-phase loads. The rated residual current of 0.3 A allows monitoring of leakage currents and adds an extra level of protection for the electrical system. The permissible conductor cross-section ranges from 1 mm² to 25 mm², which supports connection of widely used wiring sizes during panel assembly and maintenance. Compliance with IEC/EN 61009 confirms that the device belongs to the category of differential circuit breakers and meets the requirements applicable to this type of protective apparatus. Thanks to its modular format, it is installed on a DIN rail inside a distribution board and can be integrated into protective and distribution systems for apartments, houses, offices, and small commercial facilities.
