ETI EFI-4 is a residual current device designed to protect electrical circuits from leakage currents and to improve the safety of installations in residential, commercial, and industrial distribution boards. It is used where continuous monitoring of differential current is required and where the circuit must be disconnected promptly in the event of insulation failure or accidental contact between live parts and earth. The device is rated for a nominal current of 80 A and operates in AC networks with a rated voltage of 415 V and a frequency of 50/60 Hz. The 3+N pole configuration makes it suitable for three-phase four-wire circuits with a neutral conductor. Type AC indicates use in circuits where sinusoidal alternating residual currents may occur. The residual operating current is 0.5 A, defining the trip threshold for leakage protection.
