About product
This Legrand Mosaic mounting support is designed for concealed installation of electrical inserts and modular elements in wall-mounted assemblies. It serves as a mounting base that helps position and fix Mosaic components correctly inside an electrical installation point. Such a solution is used in lighting control systems, socket groups, and communication assemblies where the modules must be installed neatly in a hidden niche, without using a floor box, cable duct, or a 60 mm junction box.
The product is made for a 2-gang configuration and has overall dimensions of 145 mm in width, 77 mm in height, and 15.7 mm in depth. It provides 5 horizontal module positions and 1 vertical module position, which allows flexible arrangement of Mosaic inserts depending on the installation scheme. The support can be mounted both horizontally and vertically, so it adapts to different layout requirements in residential, commercial, and public premises. Module installation is performed from the front side, which simplifies assembly and later servicing of the installed elements.
The construction is based on metal with a galvanically and electrolytically zinc-coated surface. This finish is intended to improve resistance to corrosion within the operating conditions of the product and help maintain dimensional stability during use. The mounting method is screw-based, while the product is supplied without an integrated installation box and without fastening screws included. It is not intended for installation on a 35 mm DIN rail and is not designed for nail mounting.
